Trikem Gastro

Gastro is based on lecithin which is found in the stomach and along with polysaccharides form a barrier gel to effectively protect the mucous membranes from the stomach acid. Lecithin also helps to improve the horse's nutrient absorption and energy utilization of the feed.

60% of peformance horses and about 90% of racehorses have ulcers similar damage to the gastric mucosa. Problems that can be traced to excessive amounts of starch-rich feed, stress, environmental changes etc. Symptoms of stomach irritation can be bad nutrition and conditon, the horse becomes uneasy before meals, bad temper, low performance, etc. Naturally the gastric mucosa is protected against the aggressive gastric acidity of the substances contained in VIMITAL Gastro.

Dosage

60 ml/day (50g) for horse 550 kg. A double dose first 10 days or when the horse has ulcer symptoms. Others in proportion to body weight or according to veterinary prescription.
